Most diamonds contain tiny; natural birthmarks called "inclusions".
However the fewer and smaller the inclusions, the less likely they will
interfere with the passage of light through the stone. Diamonds, more than any
other gemstone, have the capability to produce the maximum amount of brilliance,
which makes a diamond of a carat or more, the worlds most fiery gem.

FL, IF Diamonds: Flawless: No internal or external flaws.
Internally Flawless: No internal flaws. Very rare and beautiful diamonds
VVS1, VVS2 Diamonds: Very, Very Slightly Included: Very difficult to see
inclusions under 10x magnification. An excellent quality diamond.
VS1, VS2 Diamonds: Very Slightly Included: Inclusions are not
visible to the unaided eye. Considered a better value than the VVS1
and VVS2 grades.
SI1, SI2 Diamonds: Slightly Included: Inclusions are visible under 10x
magnification, should be clean to the naked eye, however some SI2
inclusions may be visible to the unaided eye. Considered by us to be the best value.
I1, I2, I3 Diamonds: Included. Typically used in pendant and earrings and
in some cases side included I1 diamonds can be used in rings. The
most reasonably priced clarity.
